OEM marketing and business development is where I spend a few years managing clients within Europe, the United States and the Far East. It is an exciting part of business to be involved in as so many people are unware of the fact that when they are driving a car or using a computer – that many of the components in the product are not manufactured and developed by the company that has its name stamped on it.
This is where OEM – Original Equipment Manufacturer – business development comes into play where the 10s of millions of $s of revenue are generated where companies supply various parts and components to other companies. This could be :-

Smaller companies should focus on the core elements of their brand equity such as :-
… and drill down into the key components of these categories and allocate appropriate resources from within the organisation to work on those areas that have been identified as being the priority in terms of the overall strategic direction of the organisation.
Constant and regular focus on this and the pushing out into the market place of the message will serve to drive the positioning of the brand in the market place, this will ultimately serve to separate the organisation from the competition, engage with customers and therefore drive revenue.

… of course, we know that Channel Marketing can readily be split into two main categories, that of delivering your product and/or service to the market place and; the specific channel used to promote your company’s products / services.
In some cases you can use the same channel for both consumption and delivery but in many cases there will need to be a careful blend of pushing the message of the organisation through specific channels and, using various channels more that others and therefore driving customers to take specific actions in order to get them into the marketing funnel.
One of the best things you can do today is to stop and take a blank piece of paper and consider the blend of channels that you are actively using the promote your products and services to the world at large.
The blend is critically important as the blend that you use will be based on the results of your market segmentation activities in line with who you are selling to and where they congregate in terms of what the best medium is to use to deliver your message to them.
This is but one small part of a component of developing a business strategy.

The question that many small business owners as well as executives from some of the largest corporations in the world have asked and are asking is, ‘what about the internet’ ?? …

As I was discussing during my radio program a few weeks ago, China is now officially the world’s second largest economy …

Mobile marketing can be very powerful if it is used properly, but most people have no idea how to use it for the most profit. The vast majority of people aren’t using mobile marketing at all, and those that do are typically not using it correctly.
As I mentioned earlier, it’s a bad idea to send direct marketing messages. People aren’t going to want to pay for a text message that is nothing but a sales message. That’s why it’s important to provide value in your messages.
Text Message “Subjects” One of the most important things you can do to increase the amount of traffic you get from your text messages is to use really compelling lines to open your message. This is the first thing people will see before they even open the message, so it’s important that the first line be really good.
Think of it as your headline, or like the subject of an email. It needs to grab attention and get people to read the rest of your message. Use a Clear Call-to-Action It’s vital to include a clear call-to-action in every message. You can’t expect people to read your mind. Let them know exactly what you want them to do.
If you want them to visit a web page, tell them to. If you want them to come by your store, give them directions and tell them to come on down. If you want them to reply to your text message, tell them so!
Too many marketers forget to include a call-to-action in their marketing material, and they just sit around wondering why their campaign didn’t work! Don’t forget this incredibly vital component.
Encourage Viral Buzz Viral marketing is something that is incredibly easy to perpetuate in mobile marketing. If you have an offer that is really one-of-a-kind or special in some way, don’t forget to ask people to tell others about it.
It’s very simple for someone to text a message to a friend when they find something interesting, so be sure to encourage this. It will help you get the most out of your text campaigns.
