In recent months, much of my work has been centred around that of Channel Marketing and I cover specifically that of
Multi Channel Marketing which is being expected and demanded by the end user customer more and more these days.
So – why Multi Channel Marketing ? It has been shown that many people will not end up purchasing a product until they hear about it through a number of different sources or channels.
This is why it is so important not to focus all your marketing efforts just on one channel, such as :-
or even Television Advertising.
There are so many different channels available to you, so it shouldn’t be hard to spread out your marketing efforts through a number of different channels.
Another reason why you should use multi channel marketing is the fact that different channels are likely to reach different people. While some people spend a lot of time on the internet, others don’t even use computers.
Some people throw away direct marketing mail items without even looking at them, while others always look to see what type of deal is being offered.
By using multiple channels you will be able to reach more people overall with your message. Of course you should do some research into your target market before you determine which types of channel marketing to use. You will then be able to find out which channels are more likely to reach the market that you are trying to target.
Online internet and digital methods can be a great way to reach those in younger markets, while more traditional print, radio, and television advertising might be better methods for reaching those that are more elderly.
As we all know, business strategies rank as one of the most searched phrases of all time in any given search engine. This is due to the fact that most of us are desperate enough to try all kinds of business strategies.
After all, business strategies help us ensure that our business is running well, and that they are the best they can be. Business strategies help us maximize the profit, while helping us with the budgeting and give us tips on how to set up a business and as well as how to maintain it.

Be courteous, kind and friendly with your customers. If you have already setup your small business, doing all these three things I’ve mentioned will make sure that your customers will be coming back to you because of your pleasing personality. It also helps to always interact with your customers.
Do more than what is expected. Give your all. Give it your 110%. This is because doing more than what is expected will make sure that your customers will be pleased with your works. This is important in printing shops, typing jobs and even small business related to food.
Taking note of these seemingly simple action points will serve you well as you look to take your business forward.
The topics of Business, Sales, Marketing and the Internet and their relation to each other is perhaps one of the most relevant topics of conversation that need to be take seriously by all business owners.
It must be stated time and time again that it is the Sales and Marketing that is the heart and soul of any business – not the products and services that are on offer !
The last point made above is a tough one to take in for many business leaders that fall in love with what they have to offer to the public at large – [ i.e. their product or service]. When this happens, we see that the focus on presenting the message/brand to the marketplace that was originially targetted fall away from an external to internal direction of attention.

As for the internet – it is a wonderful tool and the subject that I am being asked to speak about the most. In short – we have to use the internet as a supplementary tool to act in conjunction with the ‘standard offline strategies and processes that have been developed.
The internet for sure is a wonderful Sales and Marketing tool but first, any company needs to have well defined messages for which they will be making use of the internet in order to convey that message.
