As I continue to act as a Management Consultant working with companies from various industry sectors looking to devise and craft out go to market strategies. It is sometimes interesting to note some of the differences that I encounter when dealing with businesses that are based in London versus those who are [of course] not. I am based in the South West of the United Kingdom and travel to London for business often. London being at the centre of the economy of the United Kingdom and in fact dominating the world when it comes to certain markets – brings with it certain challenges.

For sure – whether you are operating you enterprise in London, New York or Tokyo you will need to ensure that you are operating according to a structured marketing and business plan. You Brand will of course be carefully defined and the message that you want to portray to the marketplace at large will be communicated through those marketing channels that you know your end user clients await. Very simple to state I know but quite another thing to actually do.
